Exchanges and Claims

• Instead of refunds, Bata Kenya offers exchanges or claims (replacements) under specific conditions.
• All requests are subject to internal review and inspection.
  • Eligibility Requirements
• Original Receipt/Valid Order Number Required: All merchandise being returned for exchange or claim must be accompanied by the original receipt/Valid Order Number.
• Mandatory Inspection: For any exchange or claim, the merchandise must be inspected by the store manager or customer service representative before approval is granted.

• At Bata, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. While we hope you love your new shoes, we understand that there may be times when a return is necessary. This Returns Policy is here to guide you through the process and is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and other applicable legislation in Kenya.

• Customers have 72 hours from the time of delivery to request a return.
• Returns are only accepted if the products are unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging.
• Products must be resalable, with no visible signs of wear or damage.
• All original tags, accessories, and packaging must be included.
• The customer bears the cost of return in case of exchanges and returns.
1. Claims for Manufacturing Defects
• We understand that issues can occasionally arise from our production process. If you believe the product has a manufacturing defect, you may lodge a claim. Refunds (or replacements) are approved only on a case-by-case basis following an internal review.

• Valid Issues: Claims are entertained only against manufacturing defects.
• Proper Use: Claims are only admissible when the shoes have been used appropriately (i.e., normal wear and tear or misuse is not covered).
• Product Scope: Claims can only be lodged for footwear, bags, and belts. No claim is admissible on socks, shoe care products, foot products, or other non-footwear items
